This edition of IFJAS concluded after three eventful days marked by the display of trendy and stylish lines, regional crafts, and sustainable products; global connections, industry insights, and fashion extravaganza; as well as a well-attended Valedictory Ceremony and Best Display Awards. It was inaugurated with a vibrant ceremony on 24th June, graced by Mr. Dileep Baid, Chairman, EPCH; Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chief Mentor in the role of Director General, EPCH and Chairman, India Exposition Mart Ltd.; Mr. Sagar Mehta, Vice Chairman II, EPCH; Mr. Sobinder Singh Kohli, President; and Mr. Naveen Yadav, Vice President, Reception Committee, IFJAS 2024. Indian Handicrafts Pavilion at Index Fair
Attracts Premium Buyers

Dubai, UAE; 4th - 6th June 2024

EPCH participated in the Index Fair, Dubai, UAE, by setting up an Indian Handicrafts Pavilion featuring exhibitors from Ahmedabad, Karur, Bangalore, Chennai, Panipat, Saharanpur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Moradabad, and Delhi NCR. These exhibitors showcased their exclusive home décor, lifestyle products, home textiles, furniture, and accessories to premium buyers at the fair. The pavilion was inaugurated by Mr. K. Kalimuthu, Consul (Commerce), Consulate General of India, Dubai, in the presence of Mr. R. K. Verma, Executive Director, EPCH, and the member exhibitors participating in the fair.........more

Sessions on Enhancing Competitiveness and EU Regulation on
Deforestation-free Products (EUDR) - Way Forward

In an effort to ensure sustainable manufacturing practices and enhance the competitiveness of its member exporters, EPCH collaborated with the CII Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness for SMEs. The sessions held, benefited stakeholders in many ways, including providing hands-on experience in adopting world-class manufacturing practices, focusing on cultural change towards improvement, enhancing productivity, reducing the cost of manufacturing, improving product quality, increasing energy efficiency, and preparing for EUDR compliance.....more
